Ink Meets Paper started as a hobby/craft project in the late fall of 2006 after my husband and I moved to Charleston, SC (and I owe him many thanks for pushing me to make this website live). However, my love for words and craft started at an early age. I was an avid reader of just about anything I could get my hands on, and I was always involved in some sort of project that involved lots of paper, glue, and tape. It probably isn’t too much of a surprise then that I eventually majored in English. My interest in stationery design was further sparked because I absolutely love sending (and receiving) handwritten notes (especially in this day when emails are so quickly dashed off), and there’s nothing better than using beautiful stationery. While working on Ink Meets Paper, I hoped to create a personalized stationery line that was modern, affordable, and would make people re-discover the joy of handwritten cards.
